Originally this object was an old stone house with stables. Inside and outside elaborately and modernly restored, but keeping the old stone structure inside and outside.

You will find in only 5 minutes walk an „alimentari“, where you can buy all necessities of daily life: fresh vegetables, fresh meat, bread, drug products etc.

The rustico-villa is situated on the unspoilt and sunny slope along the desirable westcoast of Lake Como; above the elegant villas and besides the famous historic gardens of Villa Carlotta. In the nearest neighbourhood is situated the well-known Villa La Collina, the former summer residence of Mr. Konrad Adenauer, the first German chancellor. Even today is this historic place the center oft he Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.

Griante/Caenabbia offers a lot of convenience and activities. A wide range of hiking trails, the Greenway del Lago, the famous gardens of Villa Carlotta, the attractive Villa Balbianello, the golf course of Menaggio and ferries and ships to Bellagio and Varenna, two charming touristic magnets.
